AREA VI: EXTENSION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

 

STRENGTHS

  1. There is a remarkable support of the community to the BSEE extension programs and activities. This is a manifestation of a strong partnership between the College and the LGU.
  2. The Institution has a research development and extension manual (RDE) for its operations approved by the Board of Trustees (BOT).
  3. The extension agenda of the institution captures the current national and regional situations thereby addressing the needs of the community.
  4. The extension programs and activities are evidently aligned to the vision and mission of the institution and to the goals and objectives of the BSEE program.

 

AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT

  1. Processes in conducting the extension programs/project is not evident in the RDE manual.
  2. Monitoring and evaluation of the extension programs and activities is not regularly done.
  3. Results and findings of the monitoring and evaluation were not intensely disseminated and deliberated with the concerned stakeholders.
  4. The number of clients trained through the program under survey is only limited.
  5. Faculty involved in extension activities were not given honoraria or equivalent credit units.
  6. Accomplishment report/terminal report is not evident in the extension office.
